| April Smith & The Great Picture Show
I met April in 2006 and she was the first artist I'd photographed whilst in NYC. The gig was memorable for her polished sound, amaizing voice and the way she carries herself on stage - this girl sure has music in her blood, something that can't be said for every band out there. I've seen her & photographed her many times since that first meeting, and everytime I love her music more and more. Keep an eye on this girl!

| CMJ Music Marathon 2007
College Music Magazine hold a yearly event for the music industry, mainly focused around upcoming and unsigned artits. I managed to get three nights shooting at CMJ, covering Q-Tip (Brooklyn's own, ex A Tribe Called Quest), Eldar (quality Jazz Quartet), Blue Scholars (Rap artists from Seattle), Dragonette (Canadian formed, UK based indie rock - best band I saw), Division Day (Santa Cruz based rock quartet) and Del Tha Funkee Homosapien (need I say anymore).
